Ok.. so here's what we've been up to this weekend :) Yesterday we met up with a pile of friends at the splash pad for the russel ave community day. That was a blast. There was a kids entertainer, face painting, a bounce tent, free barbecue, balloon animals.. and of course the park and splash pad. The guy who was doing the photography for the event came over and asked if he could take Tisha's pictures because she was "just adorable" and he "couldn't resist" and that he's going to put her picture on their website! I don't think I've ever seen so many of my friends in the same place before in my life :) It sure was great seeing everyone. Afterwards a bunch of us came back here for a barbecue. Matt's friend Matt brought over some sausages, steaks, and a chicken (I think we killed half a farm for this) and the Matt's made up some kebab's and did the chicken up in the barbecue (beer can chicken style YUM) and OMG the fo

So it was a good weekend. We went to Jellystone park to camp for saturday night. We made smores, hotdogs, hamburgers, and ate chips and drank way too much pop. We spent a lot of time in the pool.. the kids had fun watching yogi bear cartoons in the rec hall.. they had on around the world in 80 days (jackie chan version) for movie night saturday too. The pool was nice.. Tisha didn't even cry when we went in. anyhoo.. I didn't take my digital camera with us.. so will have to wait for pics of our trip until after I develop the camera and scan the pics.. but some pics of Tisha swimming in her little pool to tide you over til then.

A million pictures for ya!

Well.. it's been a good week. I sewed up a couple Mai Tei's to sell. There's a Doula here in niagara that wants to show them to her clients and market them for me.. here's what I've come up with so far.. I LOVE the prints on these... and they are the MOST comfortable baby carrier I've ever used. Gonna sell these for 40$ each. We took a nice trip to the splashpad the other day. here's Drew on the top of the slide here's Nadine Andrea and Matt Joey filling up a water bottle and after he dumped it on his own head Then climbing on daddy's lap all wet and giving daddy kisses and Tisha happy in her buggy and Tisha got a few new diaper covers.. Tisha's really learned to ham it up for the camera.. she's a good little model :) here's her new lacy bum and her new wool shorties and that's my pics for this week

Just putting up some pics from our playdate yesterday.. I did Tisha's hair up in a fauxhawk.. just to prove she HAS hair and isn't a complete cue ball :) My friend Jaime came over with her daughter Sienna and we had a nice time. The babies really seem to like each other. Tisha is really learning to ham it up for the camera now and this one is a crappy pic.. but really shows off the fauxhawk the lighting was bad.. but the look on Sienna's face is priceless :) she says cheese.. lol I suck at taking pics from arms length.. the lighting was bad.. but this is a pretty nice pic of Jaime and Sienna anyways

Well it's been a great day :) It started out with waking up bright and early at 6:30 and getting a few minutes to myself this morning before everyone else woke up... then I got to actually get a shower.. then I got dressed.. and just for a lark I tried on my pants from last time I lost weight (when Joey was 2) and OMG they did up! and they fit pretty damned good! YIPPEE! I haven't fit into them in 4 years! Went and did some grocery shopping with Kelly at no frills.. (that store really has to do something about the baby carts.. they're just frickin gross) got a watermelon for the weekend.. and got Joey to school on time! Then went and met Jaime to go to a Doula presentation at the superstore. It was really cool. I really wanted to find out what kind of education they need to do that and it actually looks like an attainable career goal :) and to make things even better Tisha's mai tei got the one Doula's attention and she wants me to make one for her to b
