Just showing off some of my crafts.

Well, I've been pretty busy lately since school finished (I graduated with honors by the way).  I finally finished up the pink hoodie.  It needed buttons and blocking.  Also, I made up this cute little multicolor one.  This is just a fun little pattern that I can put together in a couple of days and I love it because it is so modern and looks like something Tisha would wear herself. I also want to show off some of the outfits I made for her dolls.   and Matt and I made this adorable doll bunk bed set for Tisha for Christmas.  There are pretty much always at least two dollies sleeping on it these days.  It was made to fit her 18" dolls, but the smaller ones find it comfy as well.  Matt made the bed, I made the bedding. This little sweetie is my latest OMG find at the second hand stores.  As far as I can tell she is a Betsy Wetsy from circa 1958.  She has the markings that say she is made by Ideal.  Apparently she is hard to find because of the brown hair.  Sh

We made it home safe, tired, sore, but safe.. The cat was kinda mad at us for leaving her home alone so long and hasn't yet spoken to me other than to ask for some of my dinner last night.. however, she DID get in a welcome back cuddle with George.... He's out now, and the hole is boarded up for now.. gonna have to do a real fix of that at a later date...when we have some help with it.. neither of us is quite handy enough to take t

Last Tobermory trip of the summer.

We've spent the last week in Tobermory up at my mom's place. Finally we were able to bring Matt with us during a good time for some outdoor fun. We got there on Sunday night and headed into town on Monday morning. Bought some groceries and then visited my uncle at the Blue Heron docks when his boat came in. After that we headed to the lighthouse and Drew jumped into the water a few times. This place is really cool (literally as well as figuratively) and you can jump off the rocks into 64 feet of water and swim two feet and be in 3 feet of water. Drew was the only one properly attired to jump in water at the time though. After that we headed back to mom's to get ready to go to the beach. We were pretty thrilled to find a gorgeous set of sheets at the second hand shop, a huge improvement over sleeping on top of a top sheet that keeps sliding off while you're sleeping. We headed over to Singing Sands beach for the rest of the day. Now if you've never b
