Well another week has gone by.. what's new..
Ok.. The Brick royally messed up.. brought us the wrong table set.. I wouldn't have complained if it had been a better set than what we paid for but it was about 400$ less than what we had bought so we had to complain.. They told us to use the set they had dropped off until tuesday when they could bring us our set.. with three hours to assemble the set there was no way I was doing that.. so it stayed in boxes for the week.. BIG boxes.. taking over my dining room.. fun fun.. on the upside they brought the right set yesterday.. and you'd think with all the hassle they'd throw in free assembly.. but no.. took me 3 hours to put it all together.. but I did it! I feel powerful! I am woman! hear me roar! Pity Matty was too sick to eat on it last night with us.. but the kids and I broke it in last night with a nice meal of spaghetti..
As for my tummy troubles.. I got set up with a monday appointment for the surgeon.. so rescheduled Tisha's appointment for today.. monday the surgeon called back.. rescheduled for today.. got up this morning feeling kinda chaotic as I was also supposed to pick up the photo's today.. The surgeon's office called.. rescheduled me for tomorrow! problem solved! I did mention to them that 3:30 pm is not really a good time as I will have to bring 4 kids with me.. they seemed ok with that.. I doubt they've ever met my kids though.
So we went to the doctors... Tisha and Matt's dr. agreed to take me on as a patient so I have a new family doctor! yay! Tisha got two shots today.. she's cranky as heck now... and I got to pick up the pictures from sears!
We had decided we needed a family portrait since the last time we got one with me and Matt in it was when Drew was 2 months old. I'd like them a lot better if I lost 40 lbs.. but hey.. if it's anything like the other pics we've had done I'll look back on them in 5 years and think I looked great..lol We got some done with just us and one of each kid and one of me and Tisha and mom and one of us all with mom too.
