so it's the end of summer... hopefully these dresses will still fit tisha next summer...

it's kinda funny how many times I try to photograph this baby and she's figured out what the camera is.. so now most of the time I try to take her picture it ends up with her reaching to steal my camera... or I can try giving her a camera too.. but then I end up with this... Got back Drew's school picture proofs... not sure if I'm going to order or not this year.. Got this shot of Tisha while waiting outside for Drew to finish up his gymnastics lesson We had a rather exciting trip to the pumpkin farm today. It was my first time going to this one and we had a ton of fun. she HAD to have a rubber ducky! and the baby goat was soooo cute he was especially fun to race and the girls had a blast jumping in the straw Tisha LOVES rabbits... I love the alpaca.. they're soooo cute The singing chickens had Tisha entranced.. and Tisha just HAD to have a baby pumpkin.. they're so cute

So it's been a busy week and a busy weekend. Drew has started gymnastics and is really happy with that. He starts archery on wednesday and is pretty excited about that too. I'm excited that he's going to learn to do backflips and front flips without killing himself at the park. I just got to get all my plants back from the old house... kind of bittersweet that... I managed to get back most of my favorites but I'm not sure how badly I damaged them in the process and I wasn't able to find my white bleeding hearts which was one of the more important ones to me. Hopefully at least half of them make it. It was really hard digging them out as they were surrounded by weeds so bad that I had to essentially strip the roots of dirt to keep from bringing the weeds too. On a really happy note I got back Drew, Joey's and Matt's rose bushes from the front yard. That was nice since we'd had those since Joey was born. Got back my seedless white grape vine too....

So it's been a busy week and doesn't show any sign of stopping any time soon. Justin is back in ontario, YAY! We're happy about that. Drew and Joey's principal called and wanted to sign them up for boys and girls club... so went and checked that out and they're signed up for that too now on top of scouts. Also found Archery and Gymnastics lessons for Drew. So he's got quite a busy schedule now. The only thing Joey wanted to sign up for there was hockey and it was the same night as scouts so he'll just have to live with playing hockey on tuesdays at boys and girls club instead. The boys and girls club is really awesome! They do guitar, hip hop, sports, crafts, snacks, and games with them all for 20$ a year! plus they pick them up from school! From what I understand they are going to drop them at home as well. I figure with winter coming it's going to be great for them as well because it's better than them sitting at home playing video games...

ok.. so brief synopsis of the past 6 months... got a phone call to pick up step nephew... he lived with us for almost 6 months.. ran away to his dad's last weekend.. done a whole pile of canning.. enough spaghetti sauce, salsa, ketchup, peaches, jam for the year... gonna double the garden next year. got a new ipod touch... it's my best friend and my new brain.. really is the most awesome tool for moms ever... had to get a new computer because the old one is torched... just honestly dead. kept shutting itself off and freezing up. let me tell you.. I love my mac but the keyboard is gonna take some getting used to.... it's flat.. drew is in grade 5 now joey is in grade 2... tisha is talking up a storm and painted her first painting today...

my stupid computer died.. so I have been using Joey's for the past two months... it's been HORRID. Anyhoo.. will start you off with Easter.. the week before Easter my nephew Justin came to live with us.. so if you were wondering where the teenager in the pics came from.. that's him.
